(March 12, 2026) – Welcome to Music Jeopardy 43!  It’s the weekly music challenge where the blog provides the clues… and you provide the responses.  Each clue has point values — no dollars!  The player(s) with the most points gets bragging rights.

Last week, our “Country Music Hall of Fame Plaques” theme had eight respondents — including three newcomers — with five achieving a perfect score.  How will this week’s players fare?

This round’s category — “Woman’s History Week” — is in honor of March being Women’s History Month.  Each clue is built around songs with the word “Woman” in their titles.  You simply need to guess the correct responses.

Think you know your “Woman” song history?  There’s only one way to find out: read on!

You can post your responses in the “Your Thoughts” box below (they’ll be withheld from view until the contest closes), DM me on social media, or email me.  Please don’t be that person who posts answers publicly on social media and spoils it for everyone. And, if you’re sending an anonymous comment, please remember to include a name or alias so we can give proper credit.

All correct entries will be recognized in the next Music Jeopardy! post. The prize, as always: eternal bragging rights.

Below are this week’s five clues plus three bonuses!  Answers to last puzzle’s MJ42 (“Country Music Hall of Fame Plaques”) are at the end, along with that week’s winners.  This week’s contest closes at 11:59 pm on Monday, March 16, 2026.

  1. From Dave R:

Clue 1: What are “I Am Woman” by Helen Reddy and “I’m Every Woman” by Chaka Khan?

Clue 2: What is “Long Cool Woman (In A Black Dress)” by The Hollies?

Clue 3: What is “When A Man Loves A Woman”? (Percy Sledge / Michael Bolton)

Clue 4: What is “#9 Dream”?

Clue 5: What is “Stuck On You”?

Bonus 1: What are “Evil Woman” by ELO and “Devil Woman” by Cliff Richard?

Bonus 2: What are “A Woman Needs Love (Just Like You Do)” by Ray Parker, Jr. and Raydio, and “The Other Woman” by Ray Parker, Jr.?

I put both songs in my answer as it seemed to ask for both, although when I read the question again, THIS looks more like it’s only asking for the last top ten hit by his group…

Bonus 3: What is “Your Woman” by White Town?

  2. What are I Am Woman and I’m Every Woman?
What is Long Cool Woman (In A Black Dress)?
What is When A Man Loves A Woman?
    What is #9 Dream?
    What is Stuck On You?
B1. What are Evil Woman and Devil Woman?
B2. Who is Ray Parker, Jr.?
    B3. What is Your Woman?
