(May 12, 2025).  Welcome to this 9th edition of Music Jeopardy!  The blog provides the clues, you provide the responses AND figure out the mystery category to which they all belong.

We lost a great soul vocalist this past weekend, and his passing at age 80 is what inspired the latest Music Jeopardy category and clues.  This one should be easy if you know your ‘70s soul (sprinkled with a lot of pop).  If you do, provide your responses in the “Your Thoughts” box at the bottom of the article or DM me on any of the social media platforms where this is posted.  You can also post your answers publicly, but then you’d be spoiling it for others (do you really want that?).  All correct entries will be acknowledged in the next Music Jeopardy, but the best one will win the prize, which is absolutely nothing but bragging rights!
