(January 21, 2026) – Welcome to Music Jeopardy 37! It’s the weekly music challenge where the blog provides the clues… and you provide the responses. Each clue has point values — no dollars! The player(s) with the most points gets bragging rights.
This round’s category — “It Happened in January” — commemorates music milestones that occurred during this month in history.
Last week’s version must have been a doozy (only two people participated — see below). This one should be easier. Think you can guess the clues? There’s only one way to find out: read on!
You can post your responses in the “Your Thoughts” box below (they’ll be withheld from view until the contest closes), DM me on social media, or email me. Please don’t be that person who posts answers publicly on social media and spoils it for everyone.
All correct entries will be recognized in the next Music Jeopardy! post. The prize, as always: eternal bragging rights.
Below are this week’s five clues plus three bonuses. Answers to last week’s MJ36 (“MLK Weekend”) are at the end, along with last week’s results. This week’s contest closes at 11:59 pm on Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2026.
