(October 20, 2026) – Welcome to Music Jeopardy 71!  It’s the weekly music challenge where the blog provides the clues… and you provide the responses.  Each clue has point values — no dollars!  The player(s) with the most points gets bragging rights.

This round’s category — “More Iconic Album Covers” — features picture clues of famous album cover art from the 20th century.

These are all in fun and open to everyone!  The theme from last time — “The Class of 1970” generated 10 respondents, including one newcomer!  Only four got perfect scores — the lowest success rate in recent memory.  Many players may be surprised which ex-Beatle was the one to have his first hit debut after 1970; the correct answer prevented two people from getting perfect scores.

How will you fare this week?  Think you know your 20th century album art?  There’s only one way to find out: keep reading and play along!

You can post your responses in the “Your Thoughts” box below (they’ll be withheld from view until the contest closes), DM me on social media, or email me.  Please remember to include your name if you’re posting a comment here so we can give proper credit, and please don’t be that person who posts answers publicly on social media and spoils it for everyone.

All correct entries will be recognized in the next Music Jeopardy! post.  The prize, as always: eternal bragging rights.

Below are this week’s five clues plus three bonuses!  Answers to MJ70 are at the end, along with that game’s winners.  This week’s contest closes at 11:59 pm on Monday, October 26, 2026.
