Music Jeopardy 18 — What’s in a (Sub)title?  Guess the Songs Hidden In Other Songs’ Titles

(August 1, 2025) – Welcome to the 18th edition of Music Jeopardy! As always, the blog provides the clues… and you provide the responses.  For the first time, the clues are assigned point values.  

This round’s category is “What’s in a (Sub)title?” — those parenthetical nuggets in song titles that range from essential, like “Don’t You (Forget About Me),” to… well… awkward, like “They Just Can’t Stop It the (Games People Play).”

Here’s the twist: all the answers are songs whose entire title can be found as the subtitle of another song.  Think “I’ll Be Loving You (Forever)” by New Kids on the Block and “Forever” by Chris Brown.  Each clue hints at both songs — and the subtitle-to-title link is the key.
